Chris Lewis for School Board
I'm Chris Lewis and a retired educators with 30 years of experience in public education.
My priorities are (1) to continue building our world class workforce here in Virginia Beach dedicated to educating and preparing students for their next great chapter, (2) to empower students and ensure their success not only academically but in all of the other ways our modern economy demands -- communication, collaboration, critical thinking and resiliance, and (3) to do this together with families, their communities and by partnering with local and small business that can offer students real world experiences in the workplace.

Our teachers and staff show up every day giving everything they have. They deserve competitive pay, real support, and to be treated as the professionals they are.

All students deserve to graduate ready for their next great chapters — college, trade school, military, or workforce — as confident, critical thinkers prepared for the future.
